Hi there, I’m Mike Daley and I’m excited to welcome you to my blog!
My journey into online marketing has been an interesting one;
I left school just after my 16th Birthday with a few GCSEs and I spent the next 2 years of my life doing car washing and low paid manual jobs to get by. I then moved on to working at a UK electrical store and following that did a mixture of sales jobs up to 2007, at which time I was made redundant. I then worked in a driving role. I really enjoyed this job, however, it was sadly low paid and the company was starting to make redundancies. I knew I had to find something else with more security. I applied for a position in the manufacturing industry, working in a factory. This job involved me doing the same repetitive task over and over again in 30-second cycles. It’s a decently paid job but doing shift work and doing the same task repeatedly for 8 hours a day isn’t fun. I just knew that there had to be a better way!
One day I was chatting with my Uncle and he gave me a book about how people can make a living by selling online. I was instantly hooked and impressed that people could make money on the internet, serving people from all over the world.
Over the next few years I found myself buying numerous programmes and products in my search for online success. Unfortunately most of these schemes were nothing more than scams. The process wasn’t as easy as some cunning marketers had made it out to be. Several years went by with me buying the next shiny object and failing miserably, time and time again. The process was starting to become disheartening and I was close to giving up! That is until one day a successful friend of mine proclaimed, ‘Mike, you need to find a Mentor!’ – This was the start of things looking up for me.
Fast forward to early 2024 and I received an email from a highly successful marketer ‘John Thornhill’, who always offered excellent advice. My new Mentor explained that he had a programme where he takes you step by step from the very beginning all the way to creating your first information product online. I decided this was my last chance to make it online and ordered the 12 month Coaching.
I was going to give this coaching my all! I decided to follow each lesson to the letter and before I knew it I had a blog online! All that I had to do was to follow the steps!
…things were starting to happen and it was going very well.
This was when I decided to teach others how to not waste time and money jumping from one shiny object to the next, I don’t want you to make the same expensive mistakes that I did.
I only wish I’d had this information at the beginning of my journey looking for the secret to being successful online! That is why through my blog I will be sharing the knowledge, inspiration, and steps that have transformed my own life and I am excited for you to be joining me on this journey.
